namelengthmax - ggentile - 29-04-2010

I didn't find any limitation in MISAR AC* in the usage of matlab lenght identifier.

Where I am wrong ?

Hello Giacomo,
the only rule dealing with identifier length I have found is AC TL 2.3 - requirement to enable "code identifiers max. 31 chars" within TargetLink setup.

Josef

Do you think that is better to add this rule to SLSF also ?

The generic modelling guidelines MISRA AC GMG, of which MISRA AC SLSF is a child document as shown in MISRA AC INT, address this point in Rule MISRA AC GMG 006-J. When applying MISRA AC SLSF, users should also apply MISRA AC GMG for generic guidelines applicable to any graphical modelling language.
