I cannot find that guideline either as free or paid posting. What are the search terms I should use?
Hearing from colleague attended IQPC 4th International Conference “Applying ISO 26262”, I got to know MISRA is now working on Safety Case Guideline. Is there any public available draft of this ? I’m interested in how security issue is discussed within the case.

Hello,
I found a reference on the internet yesterday that in '06 or '07 MISRA had created a technical report that helps an engineer classify controllability for ISO-26262. It also indicated that this report is free? I did look in the publications section but I didn't seem to find the technical report name that I found elsewhere on the internet. Could someone please provide some more detail on this report? I understand that the SAEJ2980 specification is in development but I can't wait for it at this time.

Hi:

Does either ISO 26262 or MISRA SA documents provide any guidelines or requirements regarding use of "formal verification techniques" for ensuring correctness of safety-critical automotive SW? ANy benchmarks?

Can I get any references to significant works in applying formal verification techniques to auto-motive SW?

I'd appreciate if you can provide feedback.

Thanks and regards,

The following question has been received by MISRA and is posted on behalf of the questioner:

Quote:Both the MISRA Integrity Report and the Safety Analysis Guidelines refer to the following probabilities:
Unlikely
Remote
Very Remote
Extremely Improbable
However there is never an explicit definition of the probablities associated with these categories and the categories do not directly map onto the probabilities defined in Table A.2 of the integrity report. Are there explicit definitions for these categories or can I assume the following?
Remote = Remote
Improbable = Very Remote
Implausible = Extremely Improbable
