Roadmap to c23 support

Are there any formal plans/estimates/roadmaps for adding c23 support to MISRA?
If work for this has already begun, how is it going?

Originally, with the expectation of C2X being published in 2023, our roadmap included an updated MISRA C in 2026/27... with it's delay, earlier this year we published the other changes we'd been working on, as MISRA C:2025 - this did not extent the scope to the newer C Standard.

With the publication of ISO/IEC 9899:2024, work has commenced on bringing this new version into scope...

It is too early to announce a publication date, but we will endeavour to keep the community informed, in particular as part of MISRA Session Keynotes at Embedded World (Nuremburg and the USA), and potentially at other events.

Note: unlike the transition from MISRA C:2012 to MISRA C:2023, it is not our intention to issue standalone Amendments...
