MISRA C:2012 and ISO/IEC 9899:2011 (C11)
#1
MISRA C:2012 has made reference to ISO/IEC 9899:1999 (C99). As of 2011, there is the latest ISO/IEC 9899:2011 (C11). I wonder if any Supplement, Amendment or slight change has been prepared in this respect. Or MISRA C:2012 is invariant w.r.t said latest ISO standard?

Whilst written to be compatible with C90 and C99, most of MISRA C:2012 guidelines are likely to be also applicable to C11. The working group is currently reviewing the changes in the language since C99 and will be producing an updated document when that work is finished.

Thanks. Any news on the subject?

As per the Announcement, MISRA C:2012 Amendment 2 has been published, which brings C11/C18 into scope. Further work is ongoing.

This can be available from the MISRA website
